Santiago has a lot to offer  and stories are in every corner.  For example I can’t help thinking of those stone smiths creating some peculiar fantastic gargoyls  – but also some others with more peculiar shapes as well – to protect people inside buildings from evil eye.

The  decoration used in University building – Pazo Fonseca –  that expresses Renaissance sensibility in that incredible courtyard. The Market – Plaza de Abastos –  with its life expressed by fresh Galician products such as sea food, cheeses and vegetables.. along with traders and buyers among who we may find even famous local chefs of the best restaurants in town. And for the best views of the historical town the best place for sure the fascinating Alameda park, with its centenary oaks and tile trees, lighted by the delicate flower of Galicia; the Camellia.. Nature, style and magic all in the capital of Galicia!
